Torah charges us to cherish and preserve the environment, for all of nature is purposeful and is by Divine design. We are G-d’s custodians of the world.

It’s the job of every Jewish person to do whatever you have to do, of course using common sense methods, to help save every aspect of our environment that G d created for all mankind and all other creatures. G d was so gracious to create such an awesome environment full of beauty, I can’t conceive why any person would want to destroy such a gift. If all of us continue on beholding such little respect for what keeps all of us alive, in
the end we only have ourselves to blame.
